– Sold OutThis year, we are putting a fun spin on our workshops: each of our flower workshops will focus on specific seasonal flowers and tips on how to grow them! We are so excited for these hybrid gardening/flower arranging classes and to share our field with you!
While each month will focus on a specific flower variety, our entire field will be available for you to choose from, so you can truly customize your flowers!
Each workshop begins with a stroll of the farm, where we discuss many of our farming practices and point out our favorite blooms of the month. Following this, you will adorn an apron, grab your clippers and a bucket, and set out to harvest a variety of farm-fresh flowers (photo opportunities abound!). Next, our antique cow bell will call you back to the little white barn, where we will discuss some of the important details of growing the flowers we will be spotlighting during each month, while sipping refreshing beverages under the glow of the barn lights. After our flowers are done conditioning, you will receive a lesson on how to process and arrange those blooms in the most flattering fashion, while sipping refreshing beverages under the glow of the barn lights!
Classes will include light refreshments from the farm and all materials. Each class is approximately 3 hours in length and will take place in the field or barn, weather dependent. The goal is to allow each participant into the field to harvest; however, if it looks as if it might rain we will harvest in advance for you.
Please note: All workshops are nonrefundable. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to gift your registration to someone who can come in your wake. In extreme and unavoidable circumstances, we will make every effort to reach out to our email list and try to fill a spot should you be unable to attend: if we are able to fill your spot, we will process you a refund. However, this may or may not be possible, so please plan on attending and mark the date in your calendar!
While we will try to stick to our featured bloom as closely as possible, the weather may alter or affect the actual blooms in the field at any time and as such, we cannot guarantee that specific blooms will be available at each class but will do our absolute best within the constraints of mother nature's agenda!
