Position Type: Part-time, Contract
Location: Remote, local preferred (preferred availability during MST hours)
Hours: 8-10 hours per week to start, potential to scale up to full time
Compensation: Based on experience (starting at $30/hour)
About Us:
We are a sustainable flower farm committed to regenerative farming practices and education. Our mission is to inspire and educate through beautiful blooms, meaningful content, and sustainable practices. We’re looking for a creative and organized individual to help expand our digital presence and manage online operations. If you are wanting to learn farming, we will also provide opportunities for that outside of the role described above.
Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:
- Plan, schedule, and publish posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
- Collaborate on content ideas that align with our brand and audience.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages.

YouTube Video Editing:
- Edit video content for our flower farm’s YouTube channel, including adding graphics, transitions, and captions.
- Optimize videos for SEO and upload them to YouTube with compelling titles and descriptions.

E-Commerce Management (Shopify):
- Oversee the backend of our Shopify store, including updating product listings, monitoring inventory, and ensuring smooth customer transactions.
- Collaborate on promotional campaigns and seasonal sales.
- Send out monthly email newsletters with farm and content updates

WordPress Blog Creation:
- Create and publish blog posts, ensuring formatting, SEO optimization, and alignment with our brand voice.
- Repurpose existing video content into engaging blog posts.

Content Repurposing:
- Convert YouTube videos and other media into blog posts, social media snippets, and email newsletters.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and visual style across platforms.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in social media platforms and scheduling tools
- Experience with video editing software of your choice(e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie, Final Cut Pro, or Canva for basic edits).
- Familiarity with Shopify and WordPress (including basic HTML and SEO knowledge). We can provide some training if needed.
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Interest in sustainable agriculture, flowers, or gardening is a plus!
